Types of Dental Implant Procedures:

Types of dental implants:

Zirconium Dental implants, Titanium Dental implants, Ceramic Dental implants.

Types of Dental Implant Procedures:

Single Tooth Implant:

This procedure serves patients who have lost a single tooth,

Where the implanted tooth is placed over the jawbone, functioning as the root for the tooth crown to replace the missing tooth.

This procedure requires sufficient jawbone to support the implanted tooth; otherwise, bone tissue will need to be grafted.

Multiple Tooth Implants:

Similar to the single tooth implant procedure, when multiple teeth are lost, it is not necessary to perform an individual implant for each missing tooth.

Instead, a dental bridge or denture is placed and anchored to the jawbone, with the implanted teeth secured to it.

The denture remains stable and strong over the jawbone.

Full Arch Implants with 4 Implants:

This is a procedure that involves securing with 4 implants. Patients prefer this procedure over using dentures that may fall out.

Instead of implanting each tooth individually, four implants can be placed in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation:

This is a process of reconstructing or restoring all teeth in both the upper and lower jaws.

This procedure is not suitable for patients who have lost all their teeth and need complete dentures; it is more appropriate for patients who want to repair several teeth.

This treatment is carried out in several stages, the most important of which is securing 6 to 8 implants in the upper and lower jaws.

Dentures:

A replacement specifically manufactured to fit the dental condition of each patient, and the cost of dentures is relatively low compared to implants.

However, remember that you may need to replace your dentures every 3 to 5 years, while in implant procedures, they are fixed directly onto the jawbone, so they rarely need to be replaced.

Zirconium Dental Implants:

Zirconium is a crystal-like metal from the titanium family that is widely available.

Currently, it is widely used by dentists as a material for crowns in dental implants to replace damaged teeth. It is completely safe medically, biocompatible with body tissues, and also FDA-approved.

This type of procedure usually takes longer during the implantation compared to other types of implants.

Titanium Dental Implants:

Titanium is one of the most commonly used metals in dental implant procedures due to its excellent properties in integrating with human bones. It is strong and lightweight, and its use is highly

recommended because of the high success rate of such procedures. Its high strength keeps it in excellent condition for a long time.

Ceramic Dental Implants:

Ceramic teeth contain no metal and have a natural white color. It is easy to resolve any gum-related issues after the implantation.

Your teeth will look completely natural, and the accumulation of plaque on them is less compared to other types of implants. Additionally, these teeth can be replaced smoothly if the patient needs to do so.

Benefits of Dental Implants

Natural Fit:

When you get dental implants, you will feel as if your teeth are natural, giving you the confidence to smile, eat, and participate in social activities. You won’t worry about your appearance or fear embarrassing situations like dentures falling out.

Safe and Long-Lasting:

With proper care, they can last many years compared to other traditional treatments, and some implants may last a lifetime.

Natural Eating and Chewing:

When you replace your missing teeth with implants, you will feel as if you have original teeth, allowing you to chew your favorite foods more easily and giving you greater confidence in speaking.

This is because the implants are anchored to the jawbone, and over time they will protect the jawbone and provide strength to your teeth.

Reduced Bone Resorption:

Dental implants do not cause damage to the tooth tissues like the damage caused by dental bridges to adjacent tooth tissues.

Implants will help reduce bone resorption, thus restoring the original structure of the jawbone.

High Success Rate:

Dental implants have high success rates compared to other tooth replacement options.

Why do they have a high success rate?

It is due to advancements in implant technology and techniques.
